ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Kristin. 

I'm a certified yoga teacher and self-love advocate, and I use yoga to share the practice of self-love so that you can heal your relationship with your body and find joy in movement. 

I have been practicing yoga since I was a teenager, and I always had this little voice in the back of my mind whispering to me, "Maybe I could be a yoga teacher some day...". 

But when I went to yoga classes, the teachers never looked like me. When I watched videos on Youtube, the teachers never looked like me. Then, a few years ago, I started taking barre classes at a new studio and for the first time... the instructor looked like me! She had the same body type as me, and she was so confident and strong and self-assured - and that's when it hit me. 

If she can do it, why can't I?

Shortly after that, I signed up for a yoga teacher training program, and I haven't looked back since! My goal is to prove that there is no such thing as a 'yoga body' and yoga students (and teachers) come in all shapes and sizes. All of my classes are designed to make you feel more comfortable and confident in your body. 

I strongly believe that yoga is for everyone, so I use props, breathwork and visualization to bring challenging poses within reach and I tailor our flows to meet you at your appropriate edge. If you're ready to feel empowered both on and off the mat, I can't wait to flow with you!

Feeling guilty for taking time for yourself is far too common - especially among women and moms. But in order to show up for others, you have to prioritize yourself so that you don’t end up feeling resentful, burnt-out and overwhelmed. This is exactly what you will practice in Self-Love Sanctuary.

Throughout this 6-week program, you will learn how to love and empower your body through mindful movement. We will honour our inner selves with meditation and journaling. You will feel supported by an amazing community of women who are looking for the exact same thing as you: to prioritize self-care without any feelings of guilt.

1:1 Intensive

If you are looking for a way to deepen your practice so that you can get the most out of your time on the mat, 1:1 sessions might be for you. This is my most personalized container and everything we do is specifically designed for you, your body and your goals. 

You can choose between a 4-week, 6-week or 8-week program. Before we begin, you will receive a questionnaire to help me learn about you so that I can plan our sessions accordingly. 

Each week, we will have one 60-minute session where I will guide you through a yoga flow that is tailored to you - your level, your body, your props, your space. Then, I will lead you through a guided meditation that will help you de-stress and carry a sense of peace with you throughout the rest of the week.
